TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
1.
A $300 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve date, the deposit
will be applied to the final cost. If for any reason Special Times
Catering is cancelled and the contract is not fulfilled, the deposit
will not be returned.
2. Per person food cost does not include sales tax. California State
law requires that our services be taxed. Sales tax will be added
to your bill. Gratuity is not charged to your bill.
3. Due 2 weeks prior to event: 50% of food cost and minimum guest
count. MINIMUM GUEST COUNT MAY NOT BE REDUCED ONCE IT IS GIVEN TO
SPECIAL TIMES CATERING.
4. Due 2 weeks prior to event: total price of linen if Special Times
Catering provides this service. Tablecloths are offered in white
or ivory colors. Napkins are available in a variety of colors. I
will pick up and return them for no additional charge. Price for
tablecloths are $5.50 each and napkins are $0.40 each. There is
a waste water charge of 8% per order charged to Special Times Catering
by the linen supplier (Mission linen). You will be responsible for
paying this charge.

Special Times Catering can order rental for you. Rental must be
paid for in full 2 weeks prior to event. If china is not rented,
Special Times Catering can provide you with white paper products
for an additional charge.
6. A $200 security deposit is collected when Special Times Catering
provides client with linen and or rental. Deposit is refunded when
linen and or rental is returned with no damage or loss to item.
In the event linen and or rental is lost or damaged client will
receive their deposit, less the amount to cover the linen and or
rental. If loss or damage should exceed the $200 deposit, it is
the client's responsibility to cover these charges.
7. Due 5 days prior to event date: FINAL GUEST COUNT. This is the
amount of meals that you will be billed for. Because of the fact
that your catering event is based on a per person pricing, Special
Times Catering will need to know the final number of meals you are
requesting prior to the event. Special Times Catering will only
prepare an extra 5% over your Final Guest Count.
8 Due on date of event: REMAINING BALANCE IN FULL.
9. $100 or 3 times the amount of the check (which ever is higher)
will be charged for any returned checks.
10. If catering services cannot be rendered on schedule because
of client cancellation, natural disaster, or other acts of god 5
days before such services are scheduled, client will be responsible
for total price of catering services.
